Link below: https://scmuseum.org/who-we-are/human-resources/job-openings#part-time-positions The South Carolina State Museum is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Traveling Exhibitions Program (TEP) Outreach Assistant to work in the Curatorial Affairs Department assisting with the Museum’s Traveling Exhibition Program. The TEP Outreach Assistant will serve directly under the Collections Outreach Manager as a member of the Museum Services Program. To mark the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution and the founding of the United States, SCSM, in partnership with the South Carolina Historical Society, is creating and touring a traveling exhibition to tell the story of the American Revolution in South Carolina. This exhibit will highlight the state's crucial role in the war and its significant contribution to achieving American victory. Alongside the conventional storyline, the exhibition will highlight the opposition of Loyalists in South Carolina, the intricate dilemmas confronted by indigenous peoples and enslaved Africans as they navigated allegiances, and the invaluable contributions of women across all groups.
