About Us

For over 20 years, the South Carolina Community Loan Fund (SCCLF) has been a catalyst for economic growth and development.

At SCCLF, we are advancing access to capital to build assets and benefit the communities and people most in need of economic opportunity.

As a mission-driven Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), we provide financing and resources to support affordable housing, small businesses, community facilities, and access to healthy food in communities across South Carolina.

How do we accomplish this work? By offering:
Loans to support small community businesses, community facilities, and access to healthy foods
Adaptable capital to finance workforce and affordable housing, community facilities, and nonprofits
Entrepreneur development opportunities, including one-on-one assistance and entrepreneur courses through LEAP
New Market Tax Credit allocations to invest in communities throughout South Carolina
