Midlands Job Fair Drive-Thru, Hosted by Harvest Hope

SC Works Midlands, SC Department of Employment and Workforce, SC Department of Social Services and our partnering agencies would like to invite your company to take part in our Midlands Job Fair Drive-Thru that will be hosted by Harvest Hope Food Bank.  As many of you know, Harvest Hope is South Carolina’s largest food bank, providing over 50, 000 meals each week to needy residents throughout South Carolina.  A recent polling of Harvest Hope families in the Midlands revealed that over 40% have been in need of employment during the past year.
Due to COVID-19 and recommended social distancing guidelines, a traditional job fair or hiring event is not possible.  Due to these limitations, we are exploring new ways to provide these events for the public and our local employers.

This Job Fair Drive-Thru will take place at Harvest Hope (located at 2220 Shop Road in Columbia, SC) on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 between the hours of 9 am to 1 pm. Job seekers will drive through and be given the packet of information containing employment opportunities without ever leaving their vehicle. In order to make this event a success, we need  your assistance! 

We are NOT requesting your attending this event in person. Instead, employers who would like to assist would simply send us the following information to the below email address:
- List of current openings w/qualifications needed
- Job descriptions for each opening
- Information on how to apply
