Mast General Store - Friends Day

Friends Day recognizes organizations that work in each of our hometowns to activate volunteers around beautiful community assets, which improve our quality of life and boost local businesses and commerce. On Saturday, September 9, each Mast General Store location will donate 10% of the day’s sales to benefit the efforts of its local partner. You can also round up your transaction to the nearest dollar Friday, Sept. 8 – Sunday, Sept. 10 to provide additional support for your Mast Store’s partnering friend group.
The Columbia Mast General Store will partner with Palmetto Conservation.

Palmetto Conservation fosters an appreciation for South Carolina’s natural and cultural resources, providing active recreation opportunities for people of all abilities on the Palmetto Trail, its primary project, and other trail systems that can be enjoyed throughout South Carolina. The Palmetto Trail provides free public access to nearly 400 miles of passages across 14 counties from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Lowcountry. It features wilderness and backcountry trails, urban bikeways, greenways, rail-to-trail conversions, city sidewalks, and even the steps of the State Capitol. Palmetto Conservation’s Finish the Trail campaign generates funds to connect the completed portion of the trail to its eventual terminus in Upstate South Carolina.
