Description: Each year, the State Chamber hits the road to hear from business leaders across the state about the issues facing their companies. The Grassroots Tour is part of the South Carolina Chamber Alliance Partnership that connects the state, regional and local Chambers of Commerce and their members. The feedback received from the meetings will help shape the 2020 Competitiveness Agenda, which lays out the business community’s priorities for next year’s legislative session.
Members of the business community across South Carolina will have an opportunity to discuss the most important issues facing businesses large and small with S.C. Chamber leadership at each of the tour's 19 stops.
The Columbia and Lexington Chamber’s partners are coming together for the Grassroots tour on Tuesday, September 3, at 8am during the Issues Forum.
The Issues Forum exists to provide a place where Columbia Chamber Partners can gather to discuss and address local, regional and federal issues facing the business community. Meetings are currently being held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 AM at Richland County Library, 1431 Assembly St. Columbia, SC 29201. Meetings are free and open to all who wish to attend.Date and Time
