Dr. Victoria Leventis-Shew is Board Certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy and has been providing primary care and occupational health services to the Columbia community since 2010. After working in the standard insurance-driven healthcare system for over 15 years, Dr. Leventis-Shew chose to transition to the Direct Primary Care (DPC) model. She is thrilled to have opened Victory Family Medicine on Devine Street this past October. She made the switch to DPC to allow her to work with each of her patients as a team and foster the patient-physician bond, without the cumbersome roadblocks associated with the current insurance-based billing system. Dr. Leventis-Shew enjoys providing primary care to children and adults, and she is passionate about focusing on preventive care for the entire family. As a patient of Dr. Leventis-Shew, you will immediately recognize her team-focused mentality. She believes that when she and her patients work as a team, she can help them maximize lifestyle modifications. Her priority is to help you achieve optimal health and well-being.
