The 50th Annual Governor's Carolighting will take place on December 1, 2016. The event will feature a variety of musical groups prior to the lighting of the State Christmas tree, including Fort Jackson's own 282nd Army Band. This year's Carolighting will correspond with First Thursday on Main, creating an entire evening's worth of holiday activities in the capital city. First Thursday on Main will have a December night to remember! The night will include a introductory Mistletoe Market in the Arcade Mall on the 1300 block of Main Street.
