We’re inviting South Carolina teachers to start off the school year with Historic Columbia’s first ever Teacher’s Night Out! Teachers are invited to join us Thursday, August 15th for an evening in the Gardens at the Hampton-Preston Mansion. Enjoy beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres as you explore the site and all of the resources available to you and your students. Connect with education staff and Historic Columbia guides as you take a behind-the-scenes look at our new classroom spaces in the Hampton-Preston basements! This event is FREE for all South Carolina teachers who are currently registered with the state and are currently teaching in a SC school district. All teachers are allowed to bring one guest. Please register in advance and be prepared to present badge upon signing in.
