DESCRIPTION:Join Pam Meriwether\, a certified instructor at Sakhi Yoga\, for an introduction to mindfulness and meditation. In this LCAA Power Session\, Pam will share insights and strategies for practicing mindfulness and learning to de-stress.\n\n\n\nMore about Pam:\n\nIn addition to leading 200-500 hour teacher certification programs through The Sakhi Yoga School\, Pamela offers workshops\, weekly private sessions\, and classes. Having served on the ParaYoga Leadership Council in the area of Sangha\, she has a long history of serving the community\, including serving on the Board of Directors for The Retreat Project\, and The Libby Ross Foundation. Pamela also taught yoga and meditation to high school and middle school students at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and has co-led yoga retreats for women cancer survivors in New York and South Carolina.  She is the author of a long-running inspirational yoga blog and formerly spoke on a weekly talk-radio program segment on yogic approaches to life. Pamela was one of the original founders of Amsa Studios\, in Columbia\, South Carolina\, in 2005.
