SUMMARY:2020 Issues Forum 8/4
DESCRIPTION:The greater Columbia community thrives on the influx of students to our colleges and universities. Thousands of students\, parents\, and fans flock to Columbia annually to attend classes and participate in sporting events and campus activities. \n\n\n\nAs students prepare to return to fall classes\, these institutions are faced with not only the health challenges of safely returning students during the COVID pandemic\, they also must brace for changes in enrollment numbers\, online participation\, economic shortfalls\, faculty and staff needs\, and in goods and service providers.\n\n Join us for a discussion with our top education leaders on these topics and more. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe Issues Forum exists to provide a place where Columbia Chamber Partners can gather to discuss and address local\, regional and federal issues facing the business community. Meetings are currently being held on the first Tuesday of each month at 8:00 AM at Richland County Library\, 1431 Assembly St. Columbia\, SC 29201. Meetings are free and open to all who wish to attend.
